East China’s Jiangsu province will make further efforts to deepen comprehensive reform in the next five years, according to the 23rd meeting of the Committee for Comprehensively Deepening the Reform Under the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee. Wu Zhenglong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Committee for Comprehensively Deepening the Reform Under the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting. Deputy Director Xu Kunlin attended the meeting.
The meeting was held to study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the 24th meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reform, and review the " Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Ecological Protection Compensation System", "Opinions on Strengthening the Protection and Inheritance of Historical Culture in Urban and Rural Construction", "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Promotion of Seed Industry Revitalization Action" and "Measures for Promoting Trade and Investment Facilitation Reform and Innovation in Jiangsu Pilot Free Trade Zone".
General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reform has pointed out the direction and provided guidelines for us to continue to promote reform,according to a statement released after the meeting.
Efforts will be made to adhere to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches, continue to promote the implementation of the reform tasks deployed by the Party Central Committee, and strive to show a new atmosphere and a new look in the comprehensive reform, the statement said.
Jiangsu will work hard to intensify reform efforts, adhere to the combination of goal-oriented, problem-oriented and result-oriented approaches, promote the implementation of new development concepts, build new development patterns, promote high-quality development, solve thorny problems for market players and people, and promote the market-oriented allocation of factors, the reform of the scientific and technological system, the reform of state-owned enterprises and state-owned assets, and the creation of original technology sources, smooth economic cycles, promote institutional opening, build world-class enterprises, high-quality development of inclusive finance, talent training in basic disciplines, green and low-carbon transformation and promote common prosperity, said the statement.
