The temperature in Suzhou has been climbing since last Friday (February 25), with highest temperature going beyond 10℃.
The highest temperature today rises to a new level of 20℃. Is it abnormal to have such a warm day at the end of February? Actually, we had a similarly warm day last February and the then highest temperature of the day was 26℃. The higher temperature is a result of the dominating warm air mass.
A new cold front, however, is on its way, leading to a drop in the highest temperature in the next two days. The city will warm up again soon as the cold front is leaving shortly. Rain will fall on the city tonight and tomorrow with warm and cold air masses coming into contact.
The mercury is likely to fluctuate this week. Remember to put on more clothes to prevent yourself from catching a cold.
