The Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference invited members from Hong Kong and Macao and specially invited personages to offer suggestions, study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's recent important speech, and convey the policy decisions requirements of relevant meetings held by the Provincial Party Committee. Zhang Yizhen, Chairwoman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, delivered a speech.
Zhang Yizhen asked the members of the CPPCC provincial committee to gain a deep understanding of the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core.
Noting that the provincial CPPCC members from Hong Kong and Macao and specially invited personages have special status and honorable missions, Zhang Yizhen hoped that they will strengthen their sense of political responsibility and mission, perform their duties with due diligence, and strive to play an active role in the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao and the development of the Chinese mainland.
The members of the CPPCC provincial committee put forward opinions and suggestions for promoting the reform and development of Jiangsu, adding that they will play a good role as a bridge and make more contributions to the modernization of Jiangsu.
