The city of Nanjing has put into operation the Jubaoshan Civil Air Defense Project parking lot recently.
The city has constructed more parking lots in recent years to ease the pressure on car parking. Jubaoshan subway station is a large transportation hub, and many citizens will park their cars here to make subway transfers. The Jubaoshan Civil Air Defense Project parking lot offers free admission during the trial operation. In recent years, the Nanjing Civil Air Defense Office has built more than 10 civil air defense parking lots with a total construction area of 220,000 square meters and 5,000 parking spaces. Nanjing is converting more civil defense projects into parking lots to ensure that the city will provide 1,830 parking spaces by the end of 2022.
