The 2021 edition of the Zijinshan Summit for Entrepreneurs across the Taiwan Strait attracted more than 500 businesspersons from both sides of the strait to discuss development plans and seek common strategies for revitalization.

Since 2013, the summit has been held for 8 consecutive years to promote exchanges, dialogues, and close cooperation between the business communities on both sides of the strait.
At this summit, the two sides of the Taiwan Strait reached agreement on the launch of eight industrial cooperation projects.
Significant progress has been made in the expansion of TSMC’s Nanjing plant, and exchange platforms such as the Cross-Strait Information Network and the Jiangsu Taiwan Enterprise Cooperation Alliance have continued to play an active role.
From January to October, cross-strait trade volume reached 266.296 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 27.8%.
Many Taiwanese entrepreneurs said that with the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan", they have more room for development and more opportunities in the Chinese mainland.
