The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, as the mother river and the cultural treasure of Huai'an people, plays an important role in flood control, irrigation, water transfer, shipping, tourism, aquaculture, etc.
In order to improve the monitoring efficiency of key river-related projects and construction, achieve real-time supervision and retain images at any time, Huai'an Municipal Water Resources Bureau has innovated to build "mobile guards" for river management, combining with the city's actual conditions. The "guard" is equipped with a light 360-degree spherical camera as the front end, a 4G IOT card as the transmission channel, as well as rechargeable lithium batteries and small solar panels as the continuous power supply. It weighs only 1.5 kg, with a size of 18 cm * 24 cm. Due to its "small, light & convenient" characteristics, it can be installed with the hoops or screws, thus being easy to fix in, disassemble and move from the poles and buildings along the river.
