East China’s Jiangsu province saw the launch of its only biomedical service trade base Sunday in Wuxi at the 2021 Taihu Bay Science and Technology Belt Binhu Development Conference.
66 major industrial projects were signed at this conference, with a total investment of over 54.5 billion yuan, covering high-end industries such as integrated circuits, life and health, and intelligent manufacturing.
The Binhu District Government of Wuxi City has signed cooperation agreements with Shanghai Jiaotong University, China Power 58 Institute, Tsinghua Wuxi Research Institute and other scientific research institutes and R&D institutions in a bid to add new momentum to local innovation-driven development through in-depth cooperation between government, industry, university and research.
The provincial-level service trade base awarded by the Provincial Department of Commerce settled in the Wuxi Biomedical R&D Service Outsourcing Zone. This is the only base in the province that has won this honor in the biomedical field this year.
