East China’s Jiangsu province reported 220 billion yuan in technology contract transaction turnovers in the first three quarters, latest statistics show.
Jiangsu registered 43,182 technical contracts, a year-on-year increase of 28.48% with the turnover hitting 225.026 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.94%, according to the province's technology transaction statistics for the first three quarters jointly released by the Provincial Science and Technology Resources Coordination Service Center and the Provincial Technology Property Rights Exchange Market.
Advanced manufacturing, electronic information, biomedicine and medical equipment reported transactions of 75.530 billion yuan, 46.471 billion yuan, and 31.462 billion yuan respectively, ranking the top three.
Enterprises maintain their position as the mainstay of innovation, accounting for more than 90% of the total turnover. At the same time, institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions report rapid growth in technology contract transaction turnover.
The increasingly perfect and innovative systems of the technology trading system have also promoted the continuous improvement of the province's technology trading activity. Up to now, the province has given more than 140 million yuan in technology transfer bonus funds, which has fully stimulated the enthusiasm of various innovative entities.
