Wu Zhenglong, governor of Jiangsu, met with Hardan Carbin, acting governor of Xinjiang Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture and Wu Fulin, President of the Export-Import Bank of China.
The Governor said Jiangsu is making all-out efforts to accurately understand the new development stage, act on the new development philosophy and accelerate the establishment of the new development paradigm by following the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era so as to write a new chapter in the province's modernization drive.
He said Jiangsu will make further efforts in the pairing-up support to Xinjiang Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture by following General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the central government’s third symposium on the pairing-up support to Xinjiang to help maintain social stability in Xinjiang,
The governor of Jiangsu also pledged further cooperative efforts in carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality, industry, energy, education, health, consumption, culture, tourism so as to comprehensively assist the revitalization of rural areas and let the people of all ethnic groups to feel the warmth of the socialist family and the superiority of the socialist system in the solid promotion of common prosperity, and jointly make greater contributions to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.
Hardan Cabin thanked Jiangsu for its long-term selfless help, and said that Ili would learn from Jiangsu's good experience and practices, and strive to create a new situation of stable and high-quality development.
Wu Zhenglong thanked the Export-Import Bank of China for its continuous support to Jiangsu's development, adding that Jiangsu is an economic powerhouse and the Export-Import Bank of China is an important policy bank, making the two sides share great potential and broad prospects for deepening cooperation.
He hoped that the Export-Import Bank will further expand its business in Jiangsu, deepen cooperation in such aspects as the steady improvement of foreign trade and foreign investment, the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industry, the green development of strategic emerging industries, and the development and growth of strategic emerging industries so as to work together to promote high-quality development and service to build a new development pattern.
Noting that Jiangsu is an economic powerhouse with good growth momentum, Wu Fulin said the Export-Import Bank will work with Jiangsu to implement major national strategies and help Jiangsu to be at the forefront of high-quality development through in-depth cooperation.
