Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang will make further efforts to strengthen cooperation in ecological and green development, according to an executive meeting of the Yangtze River Delta demonstration zone of green and integrated ecological development.
Present at the meeting were Fan Jinlong, rotating chairman of the Board of Directors, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, Chen Yin, Chairman of the Board, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, Chen Jinbiao, Chairman of the Board, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor. The meeting was held Wednesday morning in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province.
Since the beginning of this year, the Demonstration Zone has highlighted the annual key tasks, drafted the national land and space plan, completed various special plans and produced the first batch of relatively rich cases on institutional innovation, according to a statement released after the meeting.
The demonstration zone has highlighted project-driven development, implements 65 major projects in 9 fields, strengthened important guarantees for systems and mechanisms, and constantly explored and improved new models of trans-regional governance, the statement said.
This year is the beginning year of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The demonstration zone will take high-quality development as the foundation, adhere to system innovation and project-driven construction, and form a new batch of system innovation achievements and project construction results, further highlighting the effect of the demonstration zone’s development and construction, said the statement.
