The Jiangsu-Shanghai cross-border e-commerce transit channel was put into operation Tuesday, marking a new stage of development pattern in the integrated development of cross-border e-commerce in the Yangtze River Delta.

The cross-border e-commerce cooperation supervision mechanism between Suzhou Customs and Shanghai Pudong International Airport was put into operation at ten o'clock Tuesday morning when cross-border e-commerce products such as dresses and accessories were delivered directly to Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

This batch of products will be shipped to foreign countries aboard the flights at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, cutting the time spent on the delivery from the manufacturers to the consumers by 20%.

It means that we can have a tax rebate of 130 dollars on a batch of products worth 1000 dollars.

 According to the new model, cross-border e-commerce export commodities can be directly transported to Shanghai Pudong International Airport customs for departure formalities after completing the formalities at Suzhou Customs.

The 2021 Cross-border E-commerce International Enterprise Salon was held in Wuxi on Monday. More than 180 representatives from the province's commerce and customs authorities, key trading companies and well-known cross-border e-commerce platforms at home and abroad attended the meeting.

The participants focused on hot topics such as consumer digital interaction, new e-commerce landscape, social marketing, e-commerce live broadcast, smart retail, and customs protection of intellectual property rights, and discussed the innovative development of cross-border e-commerce in the Yangtze River Delta to better respond to the current complex economic situation.
