East China’s Jiangsu Province will take concrete measures to implement the data pilot project and focus on promoting the planning and construction of "digital government".
Centering on the promotion of digital government, Jiangsu will sort out the issues concerning the one-stop service in various sectors and map out detailed plans.
The issues will involve public services, registration of newborns, compulsory education, power, water, gas and broadband access, and real estate registration.
Other issues to be incorporated into the digital government plan include emergency management, ecological preservation, urban operation, cyber supervision, and build an integrated and characteristic social governance system to achieve synergy in social governance and refined grassroots governance.
One-stop online service will also be provided for the management of demobilized soldiers that requires trans-departmental collaboration in a bid to alleviate the burden on civil servants at the grassroots level.
