East China’s Jiangsu province has taken targeted measures to accelerate the promotion of trans-provincial government services in a bid to facilitate the people in their daily life and work.
The province's government service system has established multiple information sharing platforms in areas such as people's livelihood services, business registration, medical and health care wit a view to break information barriers, and improving the level of services in different places.
On March 17, the integrated information sharing platform for housing provident fund in the Huaihai Economic Zone was put into use, facilitating the inter-provincial provident fund payment and inquiries for citizens of 10 cities in Jiangsu, Shandong, Anhui and Henan.
At the same time, Jiangsu has started the Internet-based registration for cross-provincial real estate businesses. So far, nearly half of the prefecture-level cities have begun to accept applications.
