A diversity of public-benefit classes have been made available to the residents in different communities in SIP’s Huxi sub-district since early this month. The classes are designed to enrich the participants’ life and offer them chances to learn new knowledge and skills.
The skin care and makeup class in Shuixiang Community attracted many women. In the first session, a makeup expert expounded on the science behind skin care to the participants, and offered them knacks of selecting and using makeups suitable for them.
Xinjia Community launched a fine arts class for adults. In the first session, more than 10 residents learnt to make artificial roses. According to the organizer, there will be also courses on DIY, sculpturing and painting in the future.
Huzuo’an Community promoted a painting class for kids. It consists of 12 sessions to teach kids knowledge about painting and painting and DIY skills.
Moreover, there are public-benefit classes on calligraphy, taiji (traditional Chinese shadowboxing), yoga, etc.
