NPC deputies and CPPCC members from Jiangsu province have performed their duties last year by submitting 19 motions, 476 suggestions and 200 proposals to this year’s annual sessions.
The motions, suggestions and proposals have centered on major tasks in Jiangsu and target feasibility and operation in all aspects of work.

I suggest that the central government
support the construction
of a comprehensive transportation system
in the coastal areas of Jiangsu
by increasing the hourly speed
of the Yancheng-Lianyungang high-speed rail
to 350 kilometers
to promote the development of coastal areas
The motions and suggestions are concerned with law amendments, social credibility, family education, high quality development, rural revitalization, fully demonstrating the political responsibility and the sense of mission of the NPC deputies from Jiangsu.
