CPPCC members from east China’s Jiangsu province spoke highly of the speech made by President Xi Jinping Saturday on safeguarding people's health, building quality basic public education. They made the remarks at a panel discussion Saturday evening in Beijing. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the provincial committee of the CPPCC, presided over the meeting.
Huang Lixin pointed out that the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out the way forward and provided fundamental follow-up for the education and health work in the new era, adding that we must follow the spirit of the General Secretary's important speech in thought and action from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core.
Huang Lixin called for greater efforts to accelerate the implementation of the Healthy China Initiative in accordance with the General Secretary’s important speech, deepen the reform of the medical and health system, promote the high-quality development of government-run hospitals, promote the innovative development of Chinese medicine, improve the quality of health care supply and service, and enhance education serve innovation and development capabilities, build a high-quality education system, and promote the construction of an all-round full-cycle health service system and a high-quality and balanced basic public education service system so as to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with greater excellencies.
