Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council, China’s cabinet, joined panel discussion with lawmakers from east China’s Jiangsu province at the ongoing annual session of the national people’s congress, China’s top legislature.
Li, who is also member of the standing committee of the CPC Central Committee, delivered an important speech at the panel discussion that is presided over by Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial chief.
Deputies to the NPC Wu Zhenglong, Dai Yuan, Lu Yongquan, Cui Genliang and Wu Huifang put forth their opinions concerning such issues as accurately understanding the new development stage, acting on the new development philosophy and accelerating the establishment of the new development paradigm, promoting high-quality development to achieve stability, accelerating the development of the coastal economy, speeding up the construction of a modern integrated transportation system, private enterprises’ necessity to keep abreast of the world's frontier technologies and, and promoting rural revitalization.
The Premier exchanged his views with the deputies and put forth specific requirements for the further development in Jiangsu.
