Wu Zhenglong, deputy to the Provincial People's Congress and governor of Jiangsu, joined panel discussion with lawmakers from the Changzhou delegation and Taizhou delegation on Wednesday.

According to the deputies, the achievements rest with the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the fundamental factor is the scientific guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
The deputies put forth suggestions concerning technological innovation, pharmaceutical industry development, inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine, private economic development, education that meets people's satisfaction, rural revitalization, carbon peak path, and transportation construction.
Wu Zhenglong said that the government will adopt the suggestions, further improve the work of the government, and work together to turn the grand blueprint into a beautiful reality.
When joining the discussion with lawmakers from Changzhou, Wu Zhenglong hoped that Changzhou will implement the people-centered development philosophy, deepen supply-side structural reforms, promote the real economy, accelerate technological and industrial innovation, cultivate and grow industrial clusters, promote high-quality development of the manufacturing sector, and continuously improve the quality of the ecological environment.
When joining the discussion with lawmakers from Taizhou, Wu Zhenglong pointed out that in the new stage of development, Taizhou has entered the "high-speed rail era" and is in a period of major strategic opportunities for in-depth implementation of new development concepts, speeding up the construction of a new development pattern, and promoting high-quality development.
The Governor hoped that Taizhou will speed up industrial transformation and upgrading, improve industry-city integrated development, promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategies, boost agricultural and rural development, ensure the safety and supply of food and important agricultural and sideline products, step up urban-rural integrated development, strengthen the construction of ecological civilization, promote the protection and restoration of the ecological environment of the Yangtze River and the ten-year fishing ban in the Yangtze River.
