On the afternoon of December 25, the Office of the Committee of Rule of Law of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee and the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Audit jointly held the 58th press conference on the promotion of rule of law in Wuxi. The Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Audit emphasized its purpose of "doing a good job in audit for the country and the people" and answered related questions of the media representatives.
In 2020, the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Audit implemented 92 audit projects, completed 22 items requiring coordination assigned by the superior department and found out substandard amount of 7.248 billion yuan and 356 non-amount measurement problems. For the work in 2021, the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Audit will deeply study and implement the keynote of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee under the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It will also strengthen political responsibilities, march towards target positioning, do practical work in accordance with the law and continue to reform and innovate by focusing on the overall situation of economic and social development and the spirit of “being united, being dedicated, performing duties and providing first-rate services”, so as to actively promote the development of modern audit supervision ability and modern supervision system.
