The Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission recently jointly issued the "Measures for Promoting the High-Quality Development of Intellectual Property Rights of Provincial Enterprises", formulating 22 measures for provincial state-owned enterprises to improve their intellectual property management.
The Measures introduced a series of incentive and subsidy measures. Fixed subsidies will be granted to provincial enterprises for domestic invention patents authorized in the previous year, and annual fees for domestic authorized invention patents maintained within a period of 7-9 years and patents authorized by foreign or overseas organizations in the previous year.
