East China’s Jiangsu province marked on Sunday the 11th edition of the China Statistics Open Day as well as the 7th China Census Publicity Month. Let’s take a close look.
Registration for the seventh census will begin on November 1. At present, Jiangsu has carried out comprehensive pilot projects, household registration, census instructors and census staff selection. Some new changes have been made in terms of the methods and means of the census.
This year, the statistics department increased the collection of citizen ID information, and strictly implemented security management to ensure the security of personal information.
For the first time, the statistics department will adopt self-reporting. Residents can declare their personal and family information by scanning the QR code. The census registration will continue until December 10.
