Jiangsu International Freight Train Co., Ltd. was inaugurated on Monday in a bid to implement the Belt and Road initiative, deepen the economic and trade cooperation between Jiangsu and the Belt and Road countries, and seize important opportunities for the development of the China-Europe freight trains.
Based on the China-Europe freight train services in Nanjing, Xuzhou, Suzhou and Lianyungang, Jiangsu International Freight Train Co., Ltd. was established to coordinate operations, integrate resources, and improve quality.

China-Europe Express will give full play to the advantages of various cities in Jiangsu, integrate resources, speed up overseas freight sourcing, improve the quality of operations, build an international freight train brand, and provide a new growth engine for Jiangsu's integration into the "Belt and Road" construction.
Jiangsu is one of the earliest provinces that launched freight train services with Europe. Operating 16 international freight train routes, the province now reaches out to more than 50 destinations around the world.
As of August 28, Jiangsu has sent off 1016 China-Europe freight train services, up 60% year on year and growing faster than the national average.
