East China’s Jiangsu province will step up its efforts for village-enterprise cooperation by following General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the work related to agriculture, rural areas and farmers and the work of Jiangsu and the decisions of the 8th plenary meeting of the 13th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee in a bid to write a new chapter in rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization.
In his written message, Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, stressed that the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era should be followed in the implementation of the central government’s decisions and policies on rural revitalization, come to grips with the characteristics of the development of Jiangsu’s rural areas, and make systematic advancement and bold innovation on the basis of the construction of a beautiful Jiangsu so as to take the lead in realizing agricultural and rural modernization in the country.
Ren Zhenhe, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, requested that all measures be taken to speed up the fundamental transformation of agricultural and rural development, and the emancipation and development of rural productivity should be the top priority, and village enterprises should work together for mutual benefit and win-win to promote rural revitalization.
Wei Hongjun, Chairman of the Provincial Agricultural Reclamation Group, Zhang Jindong, Chairman of Suning Group, and Wu Yi, President of Yonggang Group, issued village-enterprise cooperation initiatives to state-owned, private, and youth business enterprises in the province.
Representatives of 40 cooperation pairs signed contracts on 2834 village-enterprises cooperation projects.
