East China’s Jiangsu province posted a moderate recovery in its macro-economic climate index in April, the provincial bureau of statistics said on Thursday.
The province's macro-economic climate index in April was 79, an increase of 11 from March, standing for increasing economic prosperity.
From January to April, the added value of the industrial enterprises above designated size decreased by 3.1% year-on-year, with the decline rate contracting by 4.7 percentage points from the January-March period.
12 of the 13 prefecture-level cities reported positive industrial growth in April.
