East China’s Jiangsu province continued to rank foremost in the provision of online administrative service at the provincial level in 2019, according to a latest report released by the E-Government Office of the General Office of the State Council.
The e-government service is rated according to the sense of gain among the enterprises and the public by evaluating online service efficiency, guidance for online formalities and three other aspects.
32 provincial governments and 32 governments of major cities are included in the evaluation.
Jiangsu posted high scores in the overall assessment of e-government abilities with the comprehensive indicators ranking foremost in the country.
Jiangsu has also demonstrated its leading role in the country in the establishment of an online approval platform.
The Jiangsu provincial e-government service platform registers 37.3 million subscribers with annual clicks of more than one billion.
93% of the administrative services are handled online, facilitating the people in various aspects of life and work.
Nanjing was placed second in the e-government services of the 32 major cities across the country.
