East China’s Jiangsu province has kicked off a series of activities to celebrate the annual edition of the International Museum Day that falls on May 18.

The 8 cities in the Nanjing-Zhenjiang-Yangzhou Metropolitan Area will jointly exhibit 204 pieces of cultural heritages to feast the eyes of the visitors, and demonstrate the cultural commonality of eight cities in the metropolitan area, and the different characteristics of each city.

The top ten exhibitions and fine works of the museums across the country were displayed at the Museum of Nanjing.

A night of miracle experience at the Museum of Nanjing will be staged on Monday evening. 

Online exhibitions will also be held to meet the interest of the museum-goers. 

Historical relics and intangible cultural heritage will be brought closer to the public through modern dance interpretation and immersive experience.

In Changzhou, the Qingguoxiang Cultural Memory Museum was recently reopened to show the style of "the First Lane of Jiangnan Celebrities through a variety of means such as audiovisual, and multimedia.
