The Jiangsu online brand exhibition went underway Sunday in Nanjing as part of the 2020 China Brand Day Online.

The 2020 China Brand Day Online, which is also the third Exposition on China Indigenous Brands, is China's first national-level trade show to adopt a completely digital format.

A total of 38 digital exhibition halls, among which 37 features provincial specialty home-grown brands and products, will operate virtually between May 10 and May 12 as part of the exhibition, which is organized under this year's China Brand Day.

118 homegrown enterprises from Jiangsu promoted their indigenous brands under five categories.

They include Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group, the world’s market leader in construction machinery, the renowned purple clay teapot in Yixing and the time-honored brand Hengshun Vinegar in Zhenjiang, representing the most advanced manufacturing and modern service industry in Jiangsu.  

Visitors can experience the vivid brand VR Pavilion, understand the products and feel the brand concept through short videos, graphic introductions, etc.

At present, Jiangsu has built advanced manufacturing clusters and industry benchmarks that boast indigenous brands with world-leading technologies, such as construction machinery in Xuzhou, the Internet of Things in Wuxi, the smart grid in Nanjing, electronic information in Suzhou, and biomedicine in Taizhou.

The data shows that as of the end of 2019, Jiangsu recorded 1.5822 million registered trademarks, 765 well-known trademarks, 324 geographical indication trademarks, 91 geographical indication products, 41 provincial-level industrial cluster brand cultivation bases and 2,444 Jiangsu famous brands.
