A total of 20 confirmed imported cases have been reported in Jiangsu cumulatively as of 24:00, April 2, 19 of which are still under isolated treatment in hospital.
Case 1 is a native of Jiangsu, China who left London, the UK on March 16 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 17 after changing flights. He/she was transferred upon arrival to a site in Huai’an for centralized quarantine. Given the epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, and the results of lab tests and imaging examination, the case was confirmed.
Case 2 is a native of Jiangsu, China who left Amsterdam, the Netherlands on March 15 and arrived at Nanjing Lukou International Airport on March 16 after customs clearance and changing flights in Guangzhou. Tested positive in a nucleic acid test according to a report from Guangzhou, he/she was sent in an ambulance to a designated hospital in Nanjing for centralized quarantine and medical supervision on the same day as he arrived in Nanjing. The case was identified as an asymptomatic carrier on March 17 and confirmed afterwards with changes in the result of his/her imaging examination.
Case 3 is a French who left Nantes, France on March 18 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 19 after changing flights. He/she was transferred upon arrival to a site in Nanjing for centralized quarantine. Tested positive in a nucleic acid test on March 25, he/she was sent to a designated hospital in Nanjing for centralized quarantine and medical supervision and identified as an asymptomatic carrier. The case was confirmed afterwards with changes in the result of his/her imaging examination.
Case 4 is a native of Liaoning, China who left Paris, France on March 28 and arrived at Nanjing Lukou International Airport on the same day. He/she was transferred upon arrival to a site in Nanjing for centralized quarantine. Tested positive in a nucleic acid test on March 29, he/she was sent to a designated hospital in Nanjing for centralized quarantine and medical supervision. The case was identified as an asymptomatic carrier on March 30 and confirmed afterwards with changes in the result of his/her imaging examination.

Of the traced 13,411 close contacts with the confirmed cases and asymptomatic carriers, 647 are still under quarantine and 12,764 have been released.
Experts note that at the current new stage of pandemic control, it is necessary to take prevention of imported cases as the top priority and advance prevention in a coordinated manner. Concrete measures for targeted control should be adopted while promoting full resumption of normal order of production and life.
To intensify prevention of imported COVID-19 cases, all Jiangsu-bound international travelers will be put under centralized quarantine for 14 days since March 23. All those who visit or return to Jiangsu from overseas should comply with relevant regulations, fulfill their responsibilities by truthfully declaring their health conditions and travel histories and make health declaration via “Jiangsu Health Code”. They should seek treatment at designated fever clinics as soon as possible, if symptoms such as fever and cough occur, and report their whereabouts in the previous two weeks.
Everyone bears the primary responsibility for their own health. The public is advised to keep precautions in place; develop good hygiene habits including washing hands and ventilating homes and offices frequently; and follow proper cough etiquette. 症例1は中国江蘇省戸籍、3月16日にイギリスのロンドンを出発、3月17日に上海浦東国際空港に到着、到着後、淮安市政府により淮安市隔離専用ホテルまで移動され、集中隔離観察を始めた。その疫学行動歴、臨床症状、実験室検査結果と医学画像検査等を総合的に判断した結果、確定症例だと診断された。
症例2は中国江蘇省戸籍、3月15日にオランダのアムステルダムを出発、広州から入国し、3月16日に南京禄口国際空港に到着、広州での核酸検査の結果が陽性であるため、到着後、120救急車により南京市隔離専用ホテルまで移動され、集中隔離医学的観察を始めた。3月17日に無症状感染者と認定され、その後、医学画像検査で異常が出るため、確定症例だと診断された。

海外からの流入症例を抑制するため、3月23日から江蘇省が入国者全員を対象に14日間の集中隔離観察を行う。江蘇省への渡航者は自主的に疫病予防と抑制の関連規制を厳守し、健康状況や旅行歴などの関連情報を如実に報告してください。「蘇康コード」などのプラットフォームに登録して健康状況を申告してください。感染状況の厳しい重点国での旅行歴・滞在歴がある入国者は江蘇省人民政府外事弁公室の関連規制を厳守してください。江蘇省への渡航者は発熱・空咳など症状が出た場合、直ちに指定発熱外来医療機関へ受診してくださる上、自主的に前の2週間内のスケジュールを報告してください。
