High schools in east China’s Jiangsu province started the much-delayed spring semester on Monday for graduating students in the junior high and the senior high.
The new semester has been postponed for more than one month due to the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic or COVID-19. Schools at all levels in the province are required to continue with the daily report of COVID-19 infection and zero new cases of infection. They should also install quarantine rooms, equip hand sanitizers, and prepare masks, body temperature detectors and disinfectants.
