East China’s Jiangsu province has made unremitting efforts to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises resume production through the provision of financial credit loans so as to offset the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic on the economy. As a large province of private economy, Jiangsu registers a large number of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, which plays an important role in promoting the social and economic development of the province.
Regional governments in various parts of the province have taken the initiative to cooperate with banks to relieve the financial pressure for small and medium-sized enterprises.
8 enterprises, 6 banks and 3 investment institutions participated in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Finance Roadshow in the Binhu District of Wuxi City. Sixteen banks provided various types of credit support for the local small and medium-sized enterprises.
A number of financial institutions in the province have tried their best to help enterprises solve capital needed for the resumption of work.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Nanjing Dawei Transport Co. Ltd. has been unable to recover the transportation costs in time, making it difficult for the company to resume work. The Nanjing Qixia Branch of the Agriculture Bank of China has developed a credit service plan for the company and soon approved a loan of 6 million yuan.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the Jiangsu Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China has issued documents to support the resumption of work, and issued 6,743 loans for micro and small enterprise totaling 13.841 billion yuan.
In February, the Bank of Jiangsu invested 350 million yuan in personal inclusive financial loans. A 6-month "green channel for financing of small and micro enterprises affected by the epidemic" was set up in the integrated financial service platform of Jiangsu Province with 185 financial products were launched.
As of March 15, 3,576 enterprises have received loans through the green platform, with a cumulative financing amount of 11.03 billion yuan and an average value of 3.084 million yuan.
