East China’s Jiangsu province has kicked off the construction on major investment projects as the province is striving to coordinate epidemic control and social and economic development.
Construction has started on Wuxi Quantum Perception Industrial Park, a project that covers an area of about 173 mu with a planned total construction area of 330 thousand square meters and a total investment of about 2.1 billion yuan.
Relying on the strong scientific research strength and talent team of Wuxi Quantum Sensing Institute, the industrial park will focus on fostering leading enterprises in the field of quantum sensing by taking advantage of quantum precision measurement technology as the core.
The output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan and the tax revenue will exceed 1 billion yuan.

Construction has also got underway on a research building and supporting incubators with a planned total area of about 72 thousand square meters. The institute and the industrial park will jointly create a "high-end scientific instrument industrial cluster centered on quantum precision instruments."
Suzhou Wujiang-based Innoscience Co. Ltd has restarted the work on its gallium nitride project while epidemic control measures are ensured.
The gallium nitride project is expected to form a third-generation wide-band-gap semiconductor material device industrial base with a scale of 10 billion in 5 years.
Trial production will start at the end of 2020, and the annual output value will exceed 10 billion when it is put into official operation. It will create more than 2,000 jobs for the local people.
