East China’s Jiangsu Province has made unremitting efforts to ensure that the workers back in their hometowns for the extended Spring Festival holiday are able to return to work as soon as possible so that the orderly resumption of work and production can be implemented while epidemic prevention and control efforts are continued.
The county-level city of Kunshan has arranged for customized trains to transport the workers from Henan and Anhui over a ten-day period. Around 10000 workers will be heading for Kunshan at the government’s expense. The workers will be escorted to go through the temperature detection and personal ID check before local buses will pick them up and transfer them to the designated places.
Nanjing Jiangbei New Area have arranged for shuttle buses to transport the workers to and from the factories on designated routes.
The epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development should be promoted under overall planning, according to a circular on epidemic prevention and control released by provincial authority on Tuesday.
