A foreign language service team in Wuxi has been dedicated to the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic so as to facilitate the expatriates there.
The so-called hardcore epidemic prevention and control awareness team is launched by Dongjiang Police Station of Wuxi.
They consist of 8 officers and social governance grid agents.
Zou Xian, a social governance grid agent, has been able to use her French knowledge since the epidemic broke out.
The foreign language service team has been visiting the expatriates from one door to another to raise the awareness of epidemic prevention and control among the expats.
They have reached out to 167 expats within their jurisdiction. When the epidemic is over, the foreign language service team is expected to play its role in the public security management by offering services to the expats in the locality.
