Another team of doctors and nurses left Jiangsu for Hubei on Sunday to help contain the novel coronavirus epidemic.
The 958-member-strong medical team from Jiangsu departed from Nanjing Lukou International Airport and Wuxi Shuofang Airport.
It is the fifth batch of medical team that Jiangsu has sent to Hubei since the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic in late January.
Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, saw off the doctors and nurses at Nanjing Lukou Airport. On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the provincial government, and the people of the province, he expressed his high respect to the medical workers who are about to go to the front line in Hubei to fight the epidemic.
