Suzhou aims to build 10 innovation and entrepreneurship bases in the city and 50 such hubs across the world by the end of 2022, according to a recent meeting by the Suzhou Association of Science and Technology.
Suzhou will explore new working mechanism and try to achieve breakthroughs in establishing the offshore innovation and entrepreneurship bases. After the establishment of ten centers in the United States, Germany, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Israel and other countries, the city plans to build 30 more as well as 3-5 regional services centers for foreigners in the innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in China.
Suzhou will support some cities or districts to build regional service centers for offshore innovation and entrepreneurship bases, and also integrate ten towns that feature innovation as the driving force, into the regional service centers.
