The inaugural Yangtze River Delta Jiangsu Business Summit kicked off Tuesday in Shanghai in concurrence with the 3rd First Member Congress of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. Nearly 1500 businessperson attended the event.
Yang Yue, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, addressed the event. Yan Li, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, attended the meeting.
Yang Yue said that the meeting is expected to build a new bridge for private enterprises of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui to actively participate in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
He hoped that Jiangsu businessmen will embrace opportunities, meet challenges, open up new ideas, and work hard with more open ideas, broader minds, and more positive actions to contribute to the promotion of private economy and high-quality development in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Established 9 years ago, the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai has more than 800 members.
