Farm produce from the counties under the poverty alleviation campaign were put up for exhibition in Nanjing on Saturday.
This is the first time for Jiangsu to organized a farm produce from the counties under the assistance of the poverty alleviation campaign.
240 enterprises displayed more than 560 kinds of green and quality farm produce at the exhibition.
The Jiangsu exhibition venue saw the display of seaweed from Guanyun, edible fungus from Fengxian and small reed duck from Siyang.
The exhibition saw the hustle and bustle of shoppers who were filling their shopping bags as much as possible.
The exhibition also showcased the achievements of the province’s poverty alleviation and paired assistance programs in west China regions, enabling consumers in Nanjing to buy specialties from Xinjiang, Tibet and Shaanxi.
An apple dealer from Shaanxi is looking forward to cooperation with wholesalers and retailers in Jiangsu to increase the market shares of Shaanxi apples in Jiangsu.
