East China’s Jiangsu province reported steady economic growth in the third quarter of the year, statistics from the provincial bureau of statistics show.
According to the survey, in the third quarter of this year, the consumer confidence in Jiangsu index reversed the decline in the second quarter, up 1.8 points from the previous month to 121.9 points, up from 2.6 points in the same period last year, and running above the range of 120 points for four consecutive quarters.
The business climate index rose slightly to 123.7 in the third quarter, up 0.8 points month-on-month and 1.0 point year-on-year.
The entrepreneur confidence index rose to 124.3, up 0.7 points from the previous month.
The data shows that the enterprises in Jiangsu maintained a relatively stable status in their production and operation, indicating that entrepreneurs are more optimistic about the current situation in the industry.
The prosperity expectation index and the confidence expectation index rose by 0.8 points and 0.7 points respectively. It is expected that the enterprises will maintain their stable production and operation in the next quarter while the entrepreneurs have basically the same view on the macroeconomic situation.
