The 2019 Zijin Cyber Communication Innovation Summit was held in Suzhou on Thursday. Wang Yanwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Ren Xianliang, deputy director of the National People's Congress Social Construction Committee and president of the China Cyber Social Organization Association, delivered a speech.
Wang Yanwen pointed out that guided by Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the important instructions on building a cyber power, Jiangsu has further strengthened its positive publicity on the Internet, innovated ways of communication, and promoted the influence of mainstream public opinion.
She demanded that more efforts should be made to promote the integrated development of the media sector by making advanced technology better serve online positive publicity.
2018 Jiangsu New Media Innovation Works Award was announced at the summit. The award is sponsored by the Organization Department of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation and jschina.com.cn.
