Jiangsu Internet Industry Federation convened its first member meeting and inaugural meeting Wednesday afternoon in Nanjing.
Among the leaders attending the meeting were Wang Yanwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, Ren Xianliang, vice chairman of the Social Construction Committee of the National People's Congress, and president of the China Network Social Organization Association, and Tian Houyu, deputy commander-in-chief of the Provincial Military Command.
Ren Xianliang pointed out that Jiangsu is a thriving place for Internet-based social organization work. The establishment of Jiangsu Internet Industry Federation will undoubtedly provide Jiangsu practice and Jiangsu experience for the development of the country’s Internet-based social organization work.
He hoped that the federation will cooperate with the cyber-information authorities to implement the Internet-based social organization concentric project in depth, and promote the high-quality development of Jiangsu's online business.
