The 19th session of Inter-City Conference on Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Economic Coordination was held Tuesday in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. This is the first meeting since the Yangtze River Delta integration has been made a national strategy. Leaders from 41 member cities of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui gathered to discuss regional development plans.
(voiceover) The Conference was entitled "Building a Strong and Dynamic Growth Pole for Yangtze River Delta Cities" and issued the Wuhu Declaration on City Cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta. The declaration decided to add seven cities including Huangshan, Bengbu, Liu'an, Huaibei, Suzhou宿州, Bozhou and Fuyang to the Inter-City Conference. After this, all the 41 cities at or above municipal levels in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui have joined the Inter-City Conference on YRD Economic Coordination.

(voiceover)A total of eight projects were signed on the conference, including the inter-provincial cooperation project of Nanjing metropolitan area, covering various areas such as industrial economy, infrastructure, education and people's livelihood.
