Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, met on Wednesday in Nanjing with a delegation of Taiwan Sansan Federation of Enterprises headed by Sheng-Hsiung Hsu, chairman of the federation and board chairman of New Kinpo Group.
On behalf of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, Lou expressed his welcome to the delegation of the Taiwan Sansan Federation of Enterprises.
He said that Jiangsu attaches importance to ecological and environmental protection, actively builds a modern comprehensive transportation system, and strives to promote the construction of major projects, and seizes the important opportunities of the national strategies such as the Belt and Road construction, the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
Jiangsu and Taiwan enjoy a good foundation for cooperation and a huge space for jointly promote the development, Lou said, adding that Jiangsu welcomes the members of the Taiwan Sansan Federation of Enterprises to invest in Jiangsu.
The CPC provincial chief promised that Jiangsu will further improve the services, create a better environment for corporate development, and jointly promote the exchange and cooperation between Jiangsu and Taiwan.
Sheng-Hsiung Hsu thanked Jiangsu for its support and concern to Taiwanese businesses persons and Taiwanese companies in Jiangsu, adding that the Taiwan Sansan Federation of Enterprises will give full play to its advantages and promote Jiangsu-Taiwan exchanges and cooperation to a new height.
