Through innovative use of big data, cloud computing, blockchain and other information technologies, this "urban brain" is the first in the country to achieve data resource sharing and key application integration of more than 40 municipal government departments, 9 enterprises and institutions with the volume of data exchange adding up to more than 100 million pieces a day.
Traffic congestion index is updated in 5 minutes. Commercial housing transfer registration is processed online. Online appointment and online payment facilitates people’s visit to hospital.
Through the scientific analysis and in-depth development of urban big data, Nanjing has taken the lead in the country in building a smart city portal--My Nanjing APP, which integrates wisdom applications in government affairs, transportation, medical care, etc., providing one-stop precision public service to the public. The degree and user data of APP platform integration rank first in the country.
In order to ensure that the successful experience of Nanjing’s smart city construction is shared by all, Jiangsu issued last year the Three-Year Action Plan for Smart Jiangsu Construction, proposing to support the construction of "urban brain" in areas where conditions permit, and encouraging all districts and cities to build smart portals for public service platforms and new type of cities.
