A Jilin-Suzhou calligraphy exhibition was held in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province, on Aug 3, displaying works by calligraphers from Jilin province and Suzhou, a city in East China’s Jiangsu province.
The exhibition was hosted by the Jilin federation of literary and art circles, the painting and calligraphy academy of the CPPCC Jilin Committee, and the Suzhou calligraphers association.
More than 40 calligraphers from Jilin and Suzhou attended the event to discuss calligraphy and showcase their skills.
The event was aimed at promoting exchanges between calligraphers in Jilin and Suzhou, according to organizers.
