Mochou Lake, a 1500-year-old classic garden of Jiangnan style, has reopened to visitors after going through a major renovation over the past year.

The unique antique buildings such as Shengqilou, Shuiyuan and Baoyuelou have been refurbished. A new 2.9-kilometer greenway and two cruise ship berths are built in the park. When boating on the lake, you will find that the water quality of the lake has improved significantly.

The park administration has taken advantage of the refurbishment to give full play to the lake’s profound historical legacy.
Artifacts unearthed in the process of silt dredging and porcelain pieces are put on display.
Admission to the lake costs 35 yuan, which has remained unchanged from the past. Admission after 7:30 am is free.
