The Nantong Tongzhou Bay Port Construction Headquarters and the Nantong New Airport Hub Construction Headquarters were unveiled concurrently on Wednesday. The Tongzhou Bay Port and the New Airport Hub are major transportation infrastructure projects for the city’s integration into the development of the Yangtze River Delta. A number of green energy, electronic new materials and industrial-urban integration development projects are being accelerated in Tongzhou Bay Port Area that is scheduled for operation by 2022. At the same time, as an important part of Shanghai's international aviation hub, Nantong’s New Airport will grow into one of the main aviation hubs alongside with the Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai.
