The Dongtai Modern Agricultural Industrial Park relies on new varieties, new technologies and new models to realize the technological transformation from nurturing watermelon seedlings in the traditional scattered way to the centralized seedlings of modern workshops, from artificial planting to intelligent management, so that its watermelon output has totaled in 3 billion yuan.
The modern agricultural parks in Dongtai has made up 80% of the total to bring income growth for 100,000 farmers who are now earning an average disposable income of over 30000 yuan.
Other national modern agricultural parks include the needle mushroom park in Siyang County, the hydrangea and yew cultivation base in Wuxi, the garlic base in Pizhou and the nursery stock base in Shuyang.
