In the first half of this year, Jiangsu's exports stood at 1,299.06 billion yuan and imports 773.85 billion yuan. The province’s total import and export with the Belt and Road countries increased by 506.19 billion yuan, an increase of 10.8% year on year and accounting for 24.4% of the province’s total foreign trade.
In the meantime, the province saw its foreign trade structure continue to be optimized, and the import and export of general trade with higher added value increased by 4.9%, accounting for half of the total value of foreign trade in the first six months of the year.
