The standing members of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee paid a visit on Friday to Meiyuan Xincun Memorial Hall and Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery in a sign of unleashing the campaign to staying true to the Party's founding mission to meet people's aspirations to live a better life and realize national rejuvenation.

When visiting the Meiyuan Xincun Memorial Hall, the Standing members of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee were told the struggles of the revolutionary ancestors and understood the lofty spirit and great demeanor of Comrade Zhou Enlai.

The Meiyuan Xincun Memorial Hall is converted from a row of houses where Zhou Enlai, serving as the head of the CPC delegation, lived and worked when negotiating with the Kuomintang government in the mid-1940s after the defeat of the Japanese in World War II.

In the Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery, they stood in front of the Martyrs Monument and laid a wreath at the monument of the Yuhuatai Revolutionary Martyrs.

The standing members were gathered at a seminar Friday afternoon when Professor Wang Yue from Nanjing Normal University was invited to give a lecture on the campaign to staying true to the Party's founding mission.

The CPC Central Committee has launched a campaign themed “staying true to our founding mission” among all Party members, especially officials at or above the county and director level.

Zhang Jinghua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, demanded sustained progress in promoting the campaign to staying true to the Party's founding mission by learning from the exemplary roles of the revolutionary martyrs.
