As part of the Nanjing Tech Week, the Second China (Nanjing) Unmanned System and 5G Application Summit opened in Jiangsu Software Park in Jiangning District, Nanjing City on June 20.
Ben De, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Du Youwei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences joined top industry experts from home and abroad to discuss the innovative development of 5G application.
Through a summit, an exhibition and forums, the event aimed to promote the healthy and orderly development of the 5G industry. Nanjing branch of China Unicom provided the 5G commercial network for the event. Among the exhibits were Huawei’s 5G phone service for consumers, roadshow of self-driving car by AllRide.ai, and various technical solutions for Smart City initiative, such as 5G application for environmental protection, urban management, and indoor mobile robots.
The event also included workshops and presentations about autonomous car, Internet connected car, industrial cooperation for 5G ecosystem, car-road coordination, and Huawei’s connected car solution. These activities shared new research results and innovative application cases from home and abroad, promoted exchanges, and explored the development trend of 5G applications.
The event also included signing of many agreements, such as about smart 5G applications demonstration, a research center, and the establishment of the Jiangsu UAV Industry Alliance amid efforts to promote the development of 5G industry in the Jiangsu Software Park.
